Crystal engineering is a highly specialized field requiring diverse experience in electrical engineering, material science and process or manufacturing engineering. We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Design Engineer to be located in our facility in Eastern Toronto. Reporting directly to the Sr. Crystal Engineer who will mentor your development you will be responsible for the design and development of precision crystal resonators and manufacturing processes.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Provide design support for existing products
- Participate in R&D efforts in new product development and product improvement
- Develop new products taking advantage of existing core competencies
- Aid in the development of design tools and data bases
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering in process development and improvement
Qualifications include:
- Post secondary education with a background in electrical engineering, material science or physics
- 2-3 years work experience in a design or manufacturing environment (RF design experience would be an asset)
- Familiarity with RF test equipment for component testing
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision making abilities
- Proficient technical skills in MSOffice

Technical Sales Associate

The Technical Sales Associate is an integral member of the sales and customer service team located in Whitby, Ontario. This individual will be responsible for working closely with Engineering, Production and Sales to ensure customer satisfaction and promote sales growth. The Technical Sales Associate will report to the Sales Manager and Product Manager.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Develop knowledge of product line and market applications
- Assist in the creation and submission of proposals to existing and new customers
- Follow up on customer proposals
- Take responsibility for new customer development and sales growth for specified markets
- Interface with planning, production and engineering to ensure timely response to customer requests
- Assist in defining the future product strategy
- Develop and maintain high level relationships with customers (some limited travel may be required)
Qualifications include:
- Post secondary education with a background in Electronics Technology or Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years work experience in sales of technical products to OEM's
- Superior organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision making abilities
- Proficient technical skills in MSOffice
